The World Starts With Me (WSWM) – Upcoming Workshops

The World Starts With Me (WSWM) project is arranging five (5) workshops during the upcoming Dec 2007 -Jan 2008 holidays. The World Starts With Me is a sexual reproductive health and rights curriculum implemented by SchoolNet Uganda in partnership with World Population Foundation (www.wpf.org )

The five workshops are:

  1. A 2-days Sensitization workshop for 32 Head teachers of the new schools (19th -20th) December 2007.
  2. A 3-days Orientation workshop for the Teacher Trainers and the core support staff (i.e. 6 Sexual Reproductive Health experts +13 Teacher Support Specialist +13 Student Peer Educators +2 consultants) (7th -9th)Jan 2008.
  3. Two 5-days Training Workshops for the new teachers (14th -18th) Jan 2008.
  4. A 1-day Orientation Meeting for the old 68 schools on 29th Jan 2008.
  5. A 3-days WSWM Camp which will take place 3 days before the WSWM project national launch.

All workshops will be residential. Invitations and detailed programmes including the workshop venues will be sent out soon.
