Poem: “Save The Best For The Last” by Apio Maureen, Dabani Girls SS, Busia

SAVE THE BEST FOR THE LAST

A real girl is one with a heart pained with value
A mind stuffed with character
A life steered with principles
We are the standby generators appointed by God to light out the world
Because the older generation is experiencing a black out of values
But now! We should save the best for the last

Even if your mountain of lust is as big as the rift valley
You can still climb over it
Even if your sexual desire is like an active volcanic that
Erupts any time with burning passion
You can still climb over it
But now, save the best for the last

Wait until marriage that’s when you will get a standing
Licenses to start dealing in such goods and services
Sex and Love
But for now, save the best for the last

Remember watching pornography is simply bathing yourself with
Sulphuric acid
Moreover concentrated Sulphuric acid
Pornography is corrosive to the mind
It causes moral erosion to the coastlines of relationship
Waiting for the love monsoon to blow you away
Be careful
Don’t let peer groups influence you

Remember a girl’s body was designed pole line
It can transmit a sexual electric shock into your body
Avoid playing one touch, kissing and love or intimate passion
SAVE THE BEST FOR THE LAST
