Bad Peer Pressure by Atim Phionah Gladys of Gulu High School (Gulu)

I mainly want to talk about bad peer pressure. Bad peer pressure is when you get to be influenced by a bad group who always carry out nasty acts like smoking, alcoholism, and taking of drugs such as marijuana and opium.

The Dangers

Bad peer pressure affects your education in a way that you escape out of school and never attend classes just because you feel you can’t do without the drugs so you go on declining in your performance. Bad peer pressure also leads to school drop-out since all your bad peers will advise you to quit school.

Prevention

You can prevent peer pressure in so many ways like joining clubs WSWM that may help you develop a brighter future ahead of you. Also learn how to have self-esteem. Learn how to love yourself and everything you do. Don’t just do something because your friends are doing it. Always make friends that you think are beneficial to you and learn how to always seek for guidance and counseling from your parents and counselors.

Advise

My advice to all the young people out there is that you should learn to listen to someone who advises you for the good of your life.
