I am Martha Pink Namuli. I represented my school Iganga SS at the National WSWM Student Peer Educator Workshop held on 16th -20th May 2011 at Gayaza High School.

The reporting day Sunday 15th May 2011, helped me to know how to deal with the situation when I am stuck somewhere because that day I just did not know what to do or where to go but I eventually found my way to the workshop.

On Monday 16th May 2011, the activity of setting the ground rules helped me learn to keep time because it was one of the ground rules. I also learned how to keep to task if I am doing something as I have to do it and finish it.

The workshop helped me to:

  • •   Learn how to make a speech or a talk in a given time.
  • •   Acquired listening and communication skills.
  • •   Learned more about the SRHR challenges faced by young people like menstruation, early unwanted pregnancy and drug abuse.
  • •   Improve my ICT skills hence I can do academic research on the Internet and to communicate using email.
  • •   Open my eyes to how I can earn a living using Art Work.
  • •   Keep myself healthy.

I learnt how to produce poems and skits. The skit production activity which was fun will help me in my future life.
Finally, the workshop was really useful to me. THANKS TO THE FACILITATORS.
