I thank almighty father in heaven to enable/ giving me the opportunity to attend the World Starts With Me (WSWM) training of trainers of peer educators. It was not in my expectation to imagine this kind of gift to befall on me to reach at this wonderful place of life.

I left our home on the 27th Thursday to attend to the workshop of peer educators but before I left my parents advised me to be with respect and being cooperative with my fellow students from different schools as well doing the right things that the teachers really expect that I should be in position to do.

When I reached Kampala, I thought I had reached at the gate of life which may be very difficult for me to go back where there is no light to open eyes. I have learned how to work with people the way I was trained on how to speak, stand and listen as well as answering questions asked exactly.

I also experienced new friends at the training workshop whereby I was in position to make new friends of mine which I never knew that I will be able to get.

My journey to this workshop I was imagining such a dream but now the lord has already done his vowed task from him to come and see such kind of a peaceful and wonderful place which is good for human settlement.

I have learnt more about the computer and the Internet as well as knowing how to use email with help of the peer educators. Before I reached here I never knew that my eyes could be opened the way it was before, but my eyes opened when we were taught and I have learn’t more about sex the killer.

I have learnt from the workshop how pads are very important during the change that the majority of the girls experience during the menstruation period which doesn’t occur in their expectation ever before I never knew that pads can also be made from home but I was surprised to know that pads can also be made supposing we are poor and such period starts taking place.

Unity and cooperation about this I have learnt how to join hand in hand to cooperate and to be united among ourselves and in the community that I also live in as well as worldwide.

I have learnt more information about fertilization where it takes place and also learn why sometimes fertilization can’t take place which I never knew more about the details before.

Early marriage and rape and defilement; I have learnt that these can subject the child to death and even spoil the future of the child and he or she may fail to study.

Seeing and listening is the better practice of making the learners in order to understand very well before he/she writes all these experience I was in position to learn.

Working hand in hand together to solve the problem is the only solution to open our eyes.
