It was on Thursday the 27th August 2015 when I left my home early morning for the above mentioned workshop. When I reached the gate of Gayaza High School, I was so pleased since it was in fact my first time to be in Kampala.

I first started by giving high thanks to the almighty father for having granted me safe and health journey from Gulu to Kampala.

At the workshop I happened to experience a lot of new things. At first I learnt to appreciate the love my parents had for me to grant me that opportunity to be at the workshop to learn quite a lot of new things I have never come across before.

The most important thing I learned was how to work with the computer as well as email and for that matter I was able to open my own email address. I experienced the change in weather condition because from northern the weather is always hot but from here the weather is ever cold and I have to put on warm clothes all the time.

At the workshop, I learn’t a lot about reproductive health especially the menstruation cycle and making home-made sanitary pads which is so cheap but many people do not know how to make and I have loved so much to be at the workshop.

I have also learnt a lot about teenage pregnancy which has added on my knowledge on the dangers of teenage pregnancy and I know I have the experience to train others.

I have experienced and learn’t how to make friendship with people from different places since I had share issues with all the people from various places of which some of them I did not know but I struggled with all my best to share and get used to them. And for that matter, I developed skills of handling many types of people so I will be going out as a trainer of trainers.

I have developed skills of making speech in public and strength of standing before the audience in any capacity.

And so I have hope of going back to please my community at large as well as my parents as I will be giving out clear information of what I have learnt.
