AIDS

AIDS!  AIDS!  AIDS!
The whole world is knowledgeable of you
You indiscriminately kill everyone
You are more prevalent among the youth
Oh youth of Uganda we gonna be finished
Not because of ignorance
But rather because of negligence

Oh youth, think of your future
Tomorrow’s Ugandan
The insurance of our families
AIDS will have no mercy on you
Remember prevention is better than cure

Oh youth, what then should we do?
How to escape the deadly trap
Oh youth, avoid discos, videos
Cultural practices and small gifts

Oh youth if you can’t avoid
Abstain, be faithful to one partner
Or use condoms
But the surest way for us is to Abstain
For then our parents’ insurance will be assured
AIDS! AIDs! AIDS!
You can get us with abstinence
