Poem and Advice: Boys Are Strange by Tanga Carolyn, Dabani Girls SS, Busia

Poem: BOYS ARE STRANGE

Boys are strange
Girls must revenge
Letters they write
To rob your rights
Romantic words they use
Knowing girls won’t refuse
Replies they get
Oh! What a fate…
Boys are strange

But they deceive
In order to receive
In groups they gear
At your letter dear
After putting you on tension
Sharing innocent girls in ratios
In the pit hole you fall….
Oh! Help me out the girl cries
I wasn’t meant to help you ….
Boys are strange.

Advice:

My advice to fellow girls students is that you not to mess around with boys who will divide themselves in order to share you in ratios that will lead to bad results like HIV/AIDS, STIs and unwanted pregnancy. Remember when all this comes, you will drop out of school with  9 months of pregnancy, 3 days in hospital and finally countless of suffering.
Remember how it nags it nags to find me driving as you are selling onions. Stay in school and remember that boys are strange.
