It is perfectly normal to have small hips and a flat chest at the age of 15.
Don’t compare the size of your hips and breasts to those of your friends because we all grow at different rates and girls at the same age can have different hips and breast sizes because of differences in families, hormones and weight. Be yourself and love the way you are because each one of us is unique.
You should not be deceived by your friends that you need sex to get “vitamin S” to help you grow big hips and to develop breasts. The truth is at same age (which may vary from person to person) in the life of a girl, the pituitary gland which is located at the base of the brain sends a message to the ovaries to begin producing the hormone estrogen. Estrogen travels throughout the body of a girl and is responsible for stimulating the changes that take place during puberty like the development of breasts and broadening of hips.
You should just relax because you really don’t have to do anything to develop breasts and big hips. These are some of the body changes which occur naturally in girls when they reach puberty. Just wait for your time to come.
At your age of 15 you need to concentrate on your studies, don’t even think of having sexual relationship simply because your friends are advising you to do so. Sexual intercourse may lead you to lack of concentration in class, early unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted Diseases (STDs) and school drop-out.
Young lady, I appreciate your concern about having smal hips and a flat chest. You dont need to worry at all , because though we all are human beings, none is the same as the other. Look at your fingers, none is equal to the other.
There are a number of reasons why you may not have big hips and breasts.
1. You are still young and at 15 years you are not too old to get scared of yourself. So am requesting you to accept what you have and love yourself the way you are. These features will come.
2. There are hormones responsible for development of different body parts and when it comes to breasts and hips you could be in a situation where in your case, the hormones responsible for the development of these features are yet to stimulate their development. I want to assure you that at the right time they will develop.
Are you aware that some of those friends with big breasts dont like them, for they feel they are too big for them????
On the “VITAMIN S” issue your friends are not advising you well because they are going to throw you into problems related with having premarital sex which include pregnance, sexually transmitted infections like HIV which will stop you from going to school and ruin your future. There are NO ” VITAMIN S”.
Kindly take your time in these issues for your own future.Take everything easy, the right time for all is soon coming but your education is very important for you at this time.
The growth of hips and breasts is mostly determined by one’s genes and not by “vitamin S” from having sex.
There is a lot of variation in breast and hip development whereby some people develop breasts and hips at an early stage while others take long to develop hips and breasts and some people may never develop big hips at all. Young girl, you are normal and so just wait for the time your breasts and hips will develop.
Hi I am 17 and I am happy with my body from inside in out and you young ladys should be too. But it’s okey because I used to be the same way but what I did was look in the mirror at myself when I was naked and I asked myself ” If I could change one thing about my body what would it be?
We all know that one I wanted hips just like you…. and yes I have them but they are small because my weight goes up and down but I do have them and I am happy with that.. and I love it . Today cant nobody tell me nothing because I am still beautiful…
Dear young girl,
Growth of breasts and widening of hips are some of the body changes which come with time as a girl grows. They are not dependent on sexual intercourse. Because, as a 15 year old girl, you are still too young to indulge yourself into sexual activities. Early sex may result into early pregnancy, contraction of STIs and STDS like syphilis, gonorrhea etc and you can even contract HIV/AIDS which is incurable.
Growth and development among the young people come in phases and at different times. But we have individual differences amongst us.This can be compared to crops in grown in a garden. You may plant the same crops in a garden at the same time but they all don’t flower at the same time. So dear young girl, give yourself time for the nature to nurture. You are very normal.
