SchoolNet Uganda Activities

Helping schools to enhance the teaching and learning process using Information Communication Technology (ICT) through provision of affordable computers, ICT for Education advise and sensitization, technical capacity building and support, teacher pedagogical professional development and support, local education content development, school networking and school international linkages for project-based learning

A 2-day Residential Orientation Workshop for 100 schools which participated in WSWM 2008 Project Cycle to be held at MUZARDI (DFI) Mukono (5-6)th Jan 2009.

As one of the activities to kick-start the WSWM 2009 Project cycle , an orientation workshop for the 100 schools which participated in the WSWM 2008 Project cycle will be held at MUZARDI (DFI) Mukono (5-6)th Jan , 2009.

Participants are expected to arrive on the evening of Sun 4th Jan 2009 and depart on the morning of Wed 7th Jan 2009.
The Theme of the Workshop is “Sharing best practice and sustainability”

Participating schools are expected to take care of their Headteacher’s round transport and off-pocket allowances where applicable. SchoolNet Uganda and World Population Foundation will take care of accomodation , meals and workshop costs.

The Head teachers of the following 100 schools which  participated in the WSWM 2008 project cycle are invited:
