The World Starts With Me (WSWM)

The World Starts With Me (WSWM) is an Adolescence Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) curriculum implemented in some secondary school in Uganda, Indonesia, Thailand and Kenya with the financial support from World Population Foundation (http://www.wpf.org  ). In Uganda, WSWM is implemented by SchoolNet Uganda (http://www.schoolnetuganda.sc.ug ) in 150 schools in 39 districts across the country.

The World Starts With Me – Online Support Centre

This website is an initiative by SchoolNet Uganda to provide online counseling to the students who are participating in The World Starts With Me (WSWM) program currently (2009) implemented in 150 secondary schools in 39 districts across the country.  More about the WSWM can be obtained from http://schoolnetuganda.sc.ug/projects/on-going-projects/the-world-starts-with-me.htm

Students can submit their questions using the SUBMIT QUESTION option on the main menu. The questions will be submitted to SchoolNet Uganda online counselors who will then send answers to the students’ emails for very personal questions. Answers to questions of a general nature will be uploaded on the website for the benefit of other students in Uganda and other countries.
Other people who also want to provide additional answers to any particular student’s question can use the Leave a Response option provided at the bottom of each question.
