Poem: A FIGHT OF A DOUBLE FACE (HIV) by Nawangolo Innayat of Kigulu College

The sweet but forbidden fruit
So tempting like the fruit of Eden
Everyone would love to eat
As it moves, shakes like ripe pawpaw
It’s feet juicy as a sugar cane.
But what a devil you carry.

If you have to eat, just one
Check it thoroughly because of the pests.

You disguise yourself in Gold garments
Jewel yourself with diamonds
Sugar coated yet bitter
But when time for you to open your cover comes
You do it with vigor
Ready to tear the pieces like a hungry lion

If you have to wear, just one
Check it thoroughly for value.

Stop!! WSWM comes
Protecting the young as a lion to its cubs
Not any more of your disguise
Stop!!! Your good riddance
Why, among the married!! When you
Have mutual faithfulness to one partner
Why not abstinence for the unmarried but
If you can’t, use a condom

If you have to play the game use a condom
Check it for protection
