LOVE IS NOT ALL by by Babirye Joan of WSWM Peer Educator Alumni

You’re neither a piece of paper nor a glass of water
You can’t be touched but felt
Many lose their lives for you
When you’re around, happiness is felt
You’re full of joy, promises and good times,
Many yearn for you but you’re difficult to find.

You’re neither a pair of shoes nor a nice dress
You’re not like rain that I can be protected from.
Too much commitment and endurance
You’re not only a palace but also a prison
When you come, your shackles can’t be broken
You’re like a door that opens and closes
You’re unstoppable
No one will ever stop you!

Oh love you will not always cause tears at the end.
If you were a person I would ask you
Why you are unique.
