Poem: Love by Nyonyintono Hussein of Nile High School Kiyunga

Love
Love!  Love! Love!
You’re a positive emotion
That tickles my body like electric switches
When one starts with you, you are a strong bond to quit
You are like the fresh milk we drink on the wedding day

Love! Love! Love!
The first time we met each other, you were full of fun
Many people perceive you like a smell of a rose flower
Young ones have welcomed you in discos, films,
Celebrations but using you wrongly
You have made young ones even run mad because of
Poor handling
You make many people restless fighting to get you
Later you make young bodies demand for sex to satisfy you
Others leave school to search for you

Oh Love! How strong are you?
A few moments people stay with you, you can make them
Disappointed, disgusted and even commit suicide
You are a sweet cake mixed with
Poison
Those who handle you at the right time, feel proud
Of you but those who misinterpret you
Leave complaining and astonished!
Love, who are you?
