AIDS!  AIDS!  AIDS!
You attack the young
The poor, the old, the married and the rich
You are a terrible disease

AIDS!  AIDS!  AIDS!
You kill the young
The poor, the old, the married and the rich
Many people die of  you
You  have no cure

AIDS!  AIDS!  AIDS!
Why don’t you
Stop spreading and
Killing the innocent

AIDS!  AIDS!  AIDS!
The WSWM has taught us
How to deal with you
We the young should abstain from sex
The old should use a condom
The married should be faithful to each other
Soon you will be no more

Wow, Thanks for your insightful and educative poem Kenneth. I really enjoyed reading your last stanza. Surely, as young people we should abstain from sex and the married should be faithful to each other, those who have already contracted it should adhere ARVs and other drugs and AIDS shall be no more. Good to know you have this information at your age. Hope you “walk the talk” too Kenneth.

    Kenneth,

This is indeed a great poem and especially from someone as young as you are to deeply understand the scourge of AIDS. Im sure you will do a great job in our country Uganda please keep it up!

ehh Kenneth, am really impressed to know that you have such knowledge in your brain. Apart from just writing a poem, go and physically spread the word.

People will be impressed and your age-mates will believe you.

Thanks fly to WSWM. Please encourage others to join it and maybe one time every young one will be aware and thus less spreading of the disease. Am surely impressed

I am impressed with the message Kenneth has given through this Poem. Sometimes we adults get offended when young ones to talk us directly about how to stop AIDS but through this forum the message has been received by all.

Thank you Kenneth for the good work and thank you WSWM for educating the youth to frankly share with us good ideas.

Wow…! Kenneth, I am surely at loss of words because this is such a beautiful poem explaining the catastrophe AIDS causes in our lives. I really enjoyed your poem especially that it is written by someone of a trend age like yours.

As the saying goes, knowledge is power. I believe you’ve been equipped to fight the battle and through WSWM and the online support center, many of the young people will be able to free share and exchange their views about sexuality especially that this isn’t a topic ordinarily discussed in our cultures.
