Poem: SWEET LOVE Kabayi W. Mark, Tanna Memorial by Kabayi W. Mark of Tanna Memorial

Love how were you moulded?
You bring people together and you
Make us separate.
Whenever I think of separating, I
Recall the love we had before.
Love shouldn’t hurt.
May be God wants us to meet a few wrong people
Before meeting the rightful person.

Eeee…Love
You developed many nations, families
And made body parts to co-ordinate
Because of you
Before I think of associating, love comes in
Love shouldn’t hurt.

Ooooooh, love if it was possible,
I would have harvested you and stored you
In my sideboard
That whosoever is disappointed
I could spill out one for her or him
Love shouldn’t hurt.

Love, love, love you make us the
Young, youth, adult and the old move
Day morning, evening and night searching for you
Ooh…. Love you shouldn’t hurt.
We need you in sorrow, happiness and in trouble.

Dear sweet love, you shouldn’t hurt.
